Rhe Sq’éwlets are a Halq’eméylem-speaking Stó:lō people living on what is now referred to as the Harrison River, in the Upper Fraser Valley. Sq’éwlets oral tradition affirms that they have been the only people to have inhabited the area . Today, the Sq’éwlets are affiliated with the Stó:lō Tribal Council.
