Sources Archaeological and Heritage Research Inc. is a Vancouver-based cultural resource management and heritage research company established in 1997. Commonly referred to simply as Sources, the company was founded by professional archaeologists Hartley Odwak and Robbin Chatan. Sources offers archaeology-related consulting services including archaeological impact assessments, preliminary field reconnaissance, mapping, traditional use studies, and more.

This file consists of the AIA report prepared for Margot Innes Design Consultants. The report summarizes the project conducted under HCA permit 2003-0308 and falls within the established boundaries of the Locarno Beach site – DhRt-6. An alteration permit –2005-0181 was issues to Margot Innes Designs Consultants to alter and renovate a property within the DhRt-6 site boundaries. HCA permit 2005-0001 was issued to Sources Archaeological Heritage Consultants to conduct an AIA – the fieldwork component took place on March 9th, 10th and 14th, 2005. A total of nine evaluative units were excavated. No anthropogenic layers were discovered in any of the evaluative units of either impact area. A sparse number of lithic artifacts and remnant shell midden constituents were encountered in each evaluative unit. No further archaeological investigations were recommended for the proposed development.
