Institutionele geschiedenis

Golder Associates was founded in Toronto, Canada in 1960 as H. Q. Golder and Associates. In the 1960s and early 1970s, Golder Associates established a presence in other parts of Canada and expanded into the U.S., U.K. and Australia.

Geschiedenis beheer

Artifacts and documentary material related to this project were transferred from Golder to the Lab of Archaeology in two batches, one in 2000 and the other in 2001, and have remained under LOAs custody since it's transfer. In 2011, the collection was re-housed in the current LOA archives location (room 221A at MOA) and arranged and described in a way that reflected how Charles Borden kept and maintained his archaeological records. This practice, as a way of filing for Borden, continued to be used by LOA in the post-Borden era (1978-present).
