Golder Associates was founded in Toronto, Canada in 1960 as H. Q. Golder and Associates. In the 1960s and early 1970s, Golder Associates established a presence in other parts of Canada and expanded into the U.S., U.K. and Australia.

This fonds contains two series of records: Reports, and Field notes. This archaeological project was carried out by Golder Associates Ltd archaeological consulting firm in 2001 and 2002. They were issued permits by the Heritage Conservation Act (2002-005, and by Sto:lo First Nation (2001-045). These records were created and maintained by Golder Associates Ltd. consulting firm until their transfer to the Laboratory of Archaeology, UBC.
