Biographical history

Dr. Leonard Charles Ham was a Canadian archaeologist specializing in research on archaeology in British Columbia. He completed his MA Thesis on Shuswap settlement patterns at the Simon Fraser University in 1975. He graduated with his PhD in 1982, after writing a dissertation that focused on the Crescent Beach site and shell middens. Dr. Ham went on to run his own consulting business and participate in the cultural resource management sector in B.C. He lived in Delta and passed away in 2016 at the age of 69.

Custodial history

This fonds was transferred to the Laboratory of Archaeology after the completion of the project. Date of the transfer is unknown.

Scope and content

This fonds contains only the maps and photographs created during 1976 and 1977 when Leonard Ham was collecting data for his doctoral dissertation.
