This item is a paper written as part of the coursework for Anthropology 420 at the University of British Columbia. This paper sought to answer the following questions as outlined in the introduction: 1. Is there a significant difference in concentration of artifacts around or in the pithouse compared to other areas? 2. From the type of tools found, what can be assumed regarding the kinds of activities which occurred in the various areas? 3. Were the pithouses dwelling places or more likely workshops? 4. What further survey and excavation could be done to discover more about the site?
