Administrative history
The Archaeological Society of British Columbia is BC-based charitable organization that serves to promote awareness and education about archaeology in the province. Founded in 1966, the ASBC historically promoted volunteer and non-university led excavations at several archaeological sites across British Columbia. This practice has since been discontinued and today the ASBC is most well-known for their quarterly journal, The Midden, as well as educational initiatives like lecture series and school talks.

Scope and content
This series consists of all the artifact catalogues for the 1969 archaeological project ran by the ASBC Tsawwassen chapter at Sƛ̓aləp, also known as the English Bluff Site or by its Borden Code as DgRs-11. The first file contains a master index of all artifacts uncovered at the site during the 1969 field season. Files 1 to 6 contain artifact catalogues and descriptions for select individual artifacts numbered 1 through 482, with some numbers/artifacts not present. Each individual artifact descriptions typically includes a brief description of what was found, a small drawing, and other details such as dimensions, material, and context. Each artifact catalogue has a small, rectangular slip attached at the top outlining the artifact number from the numbering system the ASBC was using and the coordinates of where it was found, along with the crew member who found it and date it was uncovered on.
This series has been arranged into 6 files, located in Boxes 1 and 2.
