Administrative history
The Archaeological Society of British Columbia is BC-based charitable organization that serves to promote awareness and education about archaeology in the province. Founded in 1966, the ASBC historically promoted volunteer and non-university led excavations at several archaeological sites across British Columbia. This practice has since been discontinued and today the ASBC is most well-known for their quarterly journal, The Midden, as well as educational initiatives like lecture series and school talks.

This file consists of final reports for excavations at the DgRs-11 and DgRs-9 sites in Tsawwassen. DgRs-11 (English Bluff) was excavated in 1969, while DgRs-9 (Tsawwassen Beach) was a smaller excavation carried out the following year on the beach below the bluff.
