Historia administrativa
The Archaeological Society of British Columbia is BC-based charitable organization that serves to promote awareness and education about archaeology in the province. Founded in 1966, the ASBC historically promoted volunteer and non-university led excavations at several archaeological sites across British Columbia. This practice has since been discontinued and today the ASBC is most well-known for their quarterly journal, The Midden, as well as educational initiatives like lecture series and school talks.
Historial de custodia
Alcance y contenido
This file contains artifact catalogues with descriptions of artifacts for some belongings and objects numbered 1 through 95. A master index of all artifacts uncovered at the site is also included, which accounts for all artifacts numbered 1 through 482. The index is sorted numerically and each artifact is given a colour, which corresponds to a colour key at the top of the catalogue that describes various artifact types. Each individual artifact description typically includes a brief description of what was found, a small drawing, and other numerical information about the item.
