Artifacts and documentary material related to this project were transferred from ARCAS to the Lab of Archaeology in 1996, and have remained in LOA’s custody since its transfer. In 2011, the collection was re-housed in the current LOA Archives location (room 221A at MOA).
Scope and content
This fonds consists of materials related to an Archaeological Impact Assessment (AIA) conducted by ARCAS Consulting Archaeologists Ltd. in 1995, at [address withheld], South Delta, BC. Included in these materials are artifact catalogues for findings excavated on the property; field notes from the AIA; a map of the property; photographs and negatives of various areas on the property; reports on the AIA; and administrative files (correspondence, paperwork, etc). The map in Series 3 is located in oversized storage/map cabinet, drawer 12.
