Scope and content
File contains a copy of Charles E. Borden's "Preliminary Survey of Nechako Reservoir in West Central British Columbia." This report is based on the archaeological survey conducted by Charles E. Borden, A. L. Bryan, and R. S. Steiner in July and August 1951, during which 115 archaeological sites were recorded. (See fonds-level description for a list of sites.) The geology and natural history of Tweedsmuir Park, the ethnology of the area, survey results, and preliminary interpretations are discussed within the report. In addition, a list of every site recorded, it's location, a description of the site, and recommendations for site management are provided.
