Scope and content
File contains a copy of Charles E. Borden's "Report of Investigation of Tweedsmuir Park." This report is based on an investigation and initial survey of Tweedsmuir Park and reports conducted by Charles E. Borden et. al on the potential ecological effects of flooding in the region. The report was conducted for the Dominion-Provincial Board, Fraser River Basin. (See fonds-level description for a list of sites included in this report.) This report also includes a summary of recommendations, an appendix which includes an estimated cost of a two-man field survey of lakes in the Tweedsmuir area to be affected by the proposed Aluminum Company Development. Also included is a "preliminary report of damage to wildlife resources in Tweedsmuir Park" by James Hatter and an extract from Paul Kane: "Wanderings of an Artist." Two folded maps and one of Borden's notes, noting page numbers of "Wanderings of an Artist," by Paul Kane.
